Why join Madison PTSA??? A PTSA membership carries with it a voting voice on important issues facing the PTSA. All parents, faculty and students are encouraged to provide feedback on the questions being raised, but organization rules require that those voting on these decisions be active members of the schools PTSA organization. City, State and Federal PTSA organizations also provide to us resource materials, legal assistance, and necessary insurance benefits and the stronger our membership, the stronger our presence within these groups. Another important reason to join is that every study ever conducted on the relationship between student performance and parent involvement in education shows that when parents are involved in education, student academic performance improves. JOIN NOW! Click here for the printer-friendly registration form. The fee is $8.00 per person and merely covers the cost of individual registration with city, state and federal PTSA organizations. This is a reduction of $7.00 per member from last year’s fee and no longer reflects as an income item in the PTSA budget. It is our goal to make membership available to anyone wishing to join and is our hope this adjustment will help to that end. Please also consider contributing to the Direct Drive Campaign that begins now and runs throughout the school year. Our Direct Drive goal is $15,000 and goes toward funding scholarships and transportation for school field trips for all three grades.
